How can someone have the heart to have an affair with their own brother-in-law? Meanwhile, we have been together since childhood (Rani and Nisa, her biological sister). Moreover, personally, as Davina, I am a woman, so I feel really hurt by this story

Deva Mahenra: “If it’s a family matter, it will be difficult to refuse. But apparently, because I played in this film, I understood that in any family, there are definitely things that are best avoided. That’s why this even made it into the hadith—Brother-in-Law Is Death (Ipar Adalah Maut)—-because we have been reminded that this is nothing new. This is something that often happens. As humans, we have limits. Don’t test it all the time; it will end later.”

Mom Influencer: “One of the worst victims of the betrayal, in my opinion, is the kid. As a child advocate and parenting practitioner, I believe there is no bigger betrayal for a child than being betrayed by their own parents. Especially as a daughter. Psychologist Ajeng Raviando: “This is a phenomenon that has been here for a long time. Director Hanung Bramantyo: “We really want to bring up the meaning of Ipar Adalah Maut is Death from this film. Therefore, some people ask, is it really not allowed, right? Because it turned out to be a normal thing—the older sibling was left in the care of her younger sibling. Then someone else said, if something like that happened, what would happen? Well, that means her sibling is really bad, right? So, many perceptions can be wrong.”
