MD Pictures is collaborating again with the renowned local director—Hanung Bramantyo—and is working on a new drama film titled “La Tahzan.” On January 17, 2025, a celebration and cast reveal La Tahzan were held at the MD Place building. This film is based on the story of Elizasifaa and is ready to repeat the history of the phenomenal drama film after Ipar Adalah Maut.
La Tahzan features Deva Mahenra as the main character. His name has been rising even more, especially since the film “Ipar Adalah Maut,” where the character Aris, played by Deva, was heavily criticized by netizens for cheating.
Similarly, in the film La Tahzan—Deva also plays a character who commits adultery. Of course, viewers will feel nostalgic again with the character Aris, ready to be swept away by a flood of tears because this film carries themes of loyalty, temptation, and betrayal. The cast is also highly popular among the public—Marshanda, Ariel Tatum, Asri Welas, and the beautiful and witty model Patricia Gouw.
