MD Pictures officially announced the entire cast of the latest film Janur Ireng, part of the Sewu Dino Universe, at a cast reveal and thanksgiving event at MD Place, Wednesday (26/2/2025). This film is again directed by Kimo Stamboel and stars famous actors in Indonesia such as Rio Dewanto, Gisellma, and Marthino Lio.
Since Sewu Dino reached a fantastic number of viewers, namely 4,863,533 people, netizens have started to discuss the continuation of this film. This is because the story taken from the best-selling novel by SimpleMan does not stop at Sewu Dino, but there is still Janur Ireng which is ready to be produced by MD Pictures.

Janur Ireng Synopsis
Sabdo and Intan lived happily, despite their material poverty. Tragedy struck when their parents’ house was completely burned down. In their confusion over where to live, they were approached by Arjo Kuncoro, a man who claimed to be their uncle— a wealthy merchant who had everything. They were taken to the Kuncoro family home, but it turned out that Arjo had a sinister plan to exploit them both.
