Jakarta, February 28, 2025 – PT MDTV Media Televisi (MDTV) is ready to air three new series titles on February 28 (Samuel, Cinta Cinderella, Terlanjur Indah). The airing also marks MDTV’s debut as the “Drama Nomor 1” (“Number 1 Drama”) provider on Indonesian television.
MD Entertainment CEO Manoj Punjabi admitted that MDTV has been his dream since 2011. Manoj said that he has wanted to have a TV station for years, because he sees that the television industry in Indonesia will still have a long breath.
“So I want to create more content variations and with the right acquisition, we can create more content,” said Manoj. “What do I want from MDTV? What is certain is that I also want to contribute to this television industry.”
The three series titles that will air on MDTV at the end of February, Samuel, Cinta Cinderella, and Terlanjur Indah; will routinely accompany television viewers every day.
Samuel, which is adapted from the best-selling novel by Ita Kurniawati, tells the story of the rivalry between two motorcycle gangs, Diamond and Chayton. The conflict becomes more intense when each motorcycle gang leader competes for the attention of a female mechanic named Azzura, played by Rebecca Klopper.
In addition to Becca, there is Lazuardy Nasution who plays Samuel, the leader of the Diamond Gang, and Jordy Rizkyanda who plays the leader of the Chayton Gang, Raskal. Together they create a love triangle drama between teenagers with various backgrounds.
In addition, MDTV’s second series, Cinta Cinderella also has a story that is no less exciting. Tells the story of an evil conspiracy in a wealthy family that was suddenly abandoned by the heir. Death and loss that come one after another lead the veil of mystery in the Daryanto family to be revealed one by one.
Aisyah Aqilah plays Ishana, a servant of the Daryanto family whose life suddenly changes like Cinderella. There is also Jeff Smith who plays Axel Daryanto, the heir who suddenly falls from a ship and disappears, swallowed by the sea.
Moving away from the intrigue and politics of a conglomerate family, the series Terlanjur Indah takes the audience on a journey through the story of Indah, a religious woman who is pressured by her family to exploit her beauty due to economic pressures.
Indah is played by Annette Edoarda who will act alongside former child artist Haura Lathifah as Elia, Indah’s younger sister. In addition, veteran actor Dwi Andhika has also decided to make a comeback in soap operas through Terlanjur Indah. Dhika plays Azzam, a young cleric who wants to marry Indah, but is strongly rejected by Indah’s family.
The three latest MDTV series will air every day starting February 28, 2025, with broadcast times from afternoon to evening. Samuel airs every 17.30 WIB, Cinta Cinderella every 19.00 WIB, and Terlanjur Indah every 20.30 WIB.
