Jakarta, February 28, 2025 – MDTV’s latest series titled Samuel is ready to premiere on February 28, 2025 at 17.30 WIB. Later, Samuel is ready to accompany Indonesian television viewers every day.
Samuel, which is adapted from the best-selling novel by Ita Kurniawati alias Itakrn, tells the story of the rivalry between two motorcycle gangs, namely Diamond and Chayton. The conflict becomes increasingly tense when each motorcycle gang leader competes for the attention of a female mechanic named Azzura played by Rebecca Klopper.
In addition to Becca, there is Lazuardy Nasution who plays Samuel, the leader of the Diamond Gang, and Jordy Rizkyanda who plays the leader of the Chayton Gang, Raskal. Together they create a love triangle drama between teenagers with various backgrounds.
Although set against the backdrop of a motorcycle gang, the writer Samuel said that this story is more than a drama of a feud between motorcycle gangs. “This is not only about their friendship, but this story can be said to be complex—there is also about romance, friends, family,” said Itakrn.
Samuel is said to have just lost his older brother, Daniel (Jeff Smith), due to the evil plot of the Chayton Gang members. Later, Samuel replaces his older brother’s role as leader of the Diamond Gang. He is faced with the option of taking revenge or following his mother’s wishes to stay away from the world of motorcycle gangs.
At that time, Samuel’s life overlaps with Azzura’s when they both work in the same workshop. However, their relationship is disturbed by the presence of Raskal who thirsts for recognition from his father.
Samuel is directed by Amin Ishaq who is famous for his films and series, such as Ibu Maafkan Aku (2016), Ada Dewa di Sisiku: The Movie (2020), and the soap operas IPA and IPS (2021-2022).
This series will also be enlivened by various famous stars, starting from Jeremie Moeremans, Kiara McKenna, Bertram Beryl, Florian Rutters, Toby Armstrong, Bebeto, Satria Danielo, Adam Farrel, Rizky Fachrel, Nicholas Calame, Renaga Tahier, Lexia Aliyah, to Putri Sulistiawati.
