Jakarta, November 22, 2024 – MD Pictures, an MD Entertainment Company (IDX:FILM), officially released the Sorop official trailer and poster, written and directed by Upi. The film stars Hana Malasan, Yasamin Jasem, Ratu Felisha, Egi Fedly, Brilliana Arfira, Ibnu Widodo, Tegar Satrya, Seroja Hafiedz, Cleo Haura, and Maryam.
Adapted from a thread on X by SimpleMan, the writer behind famous stories like KKN di Desa Penari and Sewu Dino. The press conference event at Cinepolis Senayan Park was filled with enthusiasm and various reactions from the invited guests present. Warm applause filled the room as the official trailer and poster were screened for the first time.

The official trailer of the film “Sorop” opens with a chilling night atmosphere inside a house, where Hanif and Isti gasp desperately to pierce through the darkness relying on a flashlight. They try to strengthen each other when the terror of Pakde’s (Uncle) ghost repeatedly haunts them, nearly taking their lives. However, alas, the terror seemed never-ending until they discovered the reason behind it.
The official poster of the film “Sorop” also presents a chilling atmosphere of the terror of spirits within the house. It is depicted that Isti, helpless, is being pulled by a pair of pale, wrinkled hands, and surrounded by terrifying feet smeared with dirt stains.
