Los Angeles, California— EST N8, an international sales, production, and finance company, is excited to announce its latest acquisition of Perewangan, a chilling Indonesian horror film set to captivate audiences upon its release on October 24th, 2024.
Perewangan is written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Awi Suryadi, renowned for his work on KKN Di Desa Penari, the highest-grossing Indonesian film of all time. Additionally, Suryadi directed the Danur franchise, with each film ranking among the top 10 in the Indonesian box office during its release year. In Perewangan, characters Maya and Wulan face supernatural terror as their once-thriving family business crumbles, leading them to confront a horrifying figure behind their misfortunes. Suryadi once again sets the stage for a mesmerizing, suspenseful experience that will leave audiences on the edge of their seats, further solidifying his reputation as a leading force in Indonesian horror cinema.
Joining the cast as a lead is Davina Karamoy, making her debut within the horror genre. Widely recognized for her stellar performances in dramas and soap operas such as Ipar Adalah Maut (2024) and The Other Side (2022), she brings a compelling portrayal that is sure to resonate with audiences and showcase her versatility as an actress. Similarly, Restu Triandy (Andy /Rif), known for his roles in Balada Si Roy (2022) and 212 Warrior (2018), along with Shanty, a popular musician and singer, join the team as part of the main cast.

In addition to Perewangan, EST N8’s impressive slate includes the currently in-post production time-loop thriller “30 Minutes,” Kongkiat Komesiri’s new thriller DELIVERY MAN; Fantasia Best Director Award-winning Korean action film MASH VILLE; horror thriller CHABAK, which was No. 1 on Netflix Korea and produced by the legendary Tiger Yeongseop Kim, the Korean western/action film Mash Ville, and the Nepalese historical drama Gurkha Warrior.
